3. David Oscar made a hypocritical appearance on the scene to demonstrate. Yes. You heard me right. He was there. Though he posted on Facebook, sometime back that “I'm not even gonna be hypocritical and join the ‪#‎DumsorMustStop trend. How many of us have tried to conserve energy? Thanks to our waste, the dams are suffering. Don't get me wrong, I'm a mindless critic of the president JDM, and I understand that there are alternative sources of energy, but do you think that if it was that easy to fix the power crisis, the president would not saved himself the blames and constant harassment? As a nation, we happen to be fault seekers and less of vision implementers. Dumsor must stop, but your constant whining and whimpering would not act as a magic wand. Period!

In fact, he is a Ghanaian and nobody will stop him from the vigil.

4. President Mahama’s communication team member, Alhaji Halidu Haruna was there with his giant ‘bobo’. He nearly got beaten by some angry unmarried women who were above the age of 30. They were the supposed prostitutes, as he said.

5. The most used statement by the Ghana Police was “Hey! Move. Go back”

6. No political party colours was displayed on the vigil grounds. It was all black.

7. The former New Patriotic Party General Secretary Sir John came through.

8. The Ghana Police Service personnel/officers were almost one-third of the population of demonstrators.

9. There was no light out during the vigil.

10. The demonstrators had more kerosene to fuel their ‘bobos’ and lanterns.

11. Some people came with candles to demonstrate. But due the intensity of the wind they could not light up the candles. The air was offensive.

12. The celebrities were overly protected by the Ghana Police. You can’t even go close.
