Violence + Poverty = Recipe For Chaos: KSM

The founder and CEO of Sapphire Ghana Limited who is also the host of 'THE KSM SHOW' on Metro TV, Kwaku Sintim-Misa, known popularly as KSM has taken to his official facebook fan page to state that it is violence and poverty that cause chaos. His statement was driven by the recent tragic acid attack on the Upper East Regional Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party, Adams Mahama. 

Adams Mahama was thoroughly bathed with acid by two assailants who stopped his car when he was just about entering his house at midnight on May 20th; this month. He was later confirmed dead in the hospital.

The recent event in the Upper East is frightening. Violence in the midst of Poverty is the breeding ground for opportunists who are looking to exploit chaos. In that chaos, no one is safe. it has been said that the is nothing more dangerous to society than a person with nothing to loose. Such acts provide a timely avenue for those with nothing to loose to take out their frustrations and wreck havoc. In their minds, they are convinced that those caught in the wrath are the ones responsible for their poverty.

Their anger knows no party colors, no class distinction, no religion and no neighbor. It is anger that is appeased by one thing; HAVOC. My plea to all of us is to treat this as a time-bomb waiting to explode. We should keep in mind that when it does, it will not explode within a party. The explosion will not discriminate. NO ONE IS SPARED. It may have started as a party crisis but it is now a NATIONAL CRISIS. Lets join hands as a Nation to nip this in the bud.
