Good News: Gifty Anti to Marry Soon, meet her husband-to-be
The internet has for some time been flooded with rumours of the seeming love relationship between television and radio personalities Gifty Anti and Nana Ansah Kwao.
While the media has been on their heels itching for concrete proof of their relationship, the two have largely been evasive.
Well Thursday, September 24 was different; the cat was finally let out of the bag.
Nana Ansah Kwao, host of ‘That’s My Opinion’ on Joy FM, who clearly had had enough of the rumours, came out with a confirmation.
The Chief, who goes by the stool name, Oyiakehyire Nana Ansah Kwao IV of Adumasa, after successfully hosting the Eid edition of the show sent a love quoted holiday dedication to Gifty.
An excited Nana said, “I take this opportunity to wish; probably this is going to be headlines tomorrow, my lovely, sweet, significant other half Gifty Anti a happy Eid. I wish you a very happy Eid sweetheart and enjoy your day.”
The chief, who is also the host of PM Express on Joy News on MultiTV, added that “Three minutes I will be off air, I will be rushing to you.”
Prior to the dedication, the closest Ghanaians have come to knowing of their relationship is when Gifty sparked speculations about who the lucky man is during an interview with DJ Black on the Weekend Warmer in July this year..
She disclosed that she had found “the one” and his initials are “…..N-A-K.”
The two are rumoured to be preparing to tie the knot soon.

VIDEO: Woman caught at Nimo Pharmacy for stealing from a Security Officer
The two mothers were at the lounge of the Nimo Pharmacy with each mother waiting for her turn to be called by the pharmacist for prescription.
The security woman who is also a mother was the first to be called by the pharmacist for her drugs. So as she was away, in the pharmacy premises, the second mother(left) who was still waiting for her turn to be called by the pharmacist realized that a whole security officer had played careless by leaving her hand bag that has her phone, money and other items behind on the bench.
The second mother(left) looked around for seconds and when she realized nobody was watching, she quickly went into the security woman's hand bag, took her phone and money and later vanished from the scene.
The security woman returned after being attended to by the pharmacist. She moved straight to her hand bag, took it up, open the zip and immediately after opening the bag her heart dropped down into her stomach because she was then aware that the new owner of her phone and money has come for it.
It then occurred to her that the second mother who was waiting behind was nowhere to be found. She went back into the pharmacy premises hoping to see her but to no avail. She then came outside and started running around - anywhere, everywhere. She ran around and around and around until she finally got hold of the mother thief. She frisked her and lo and behold she found her phone on her but the mother thief had already switched off the the phone.
She then single-handedly dragged her back to the forecourt of the pharmacy. And everything that happened after is in the video. It is sad though. The hardship is real.

PHOTOS: SHS student commits suicide, Her reason for doing so will shock you
The entire Somanya township is currently in a state of shock as a final year female student of the Yilo-Krobo Senior High School has committed suicide on Thursday afternoon.
Go down for the sad photos.
The student, identified only as Eunice, was found hanging from a rope tied to the branches of a Mango tree near a popular road known as the "DC Road" in Somanya.
It is not immediately known what might have triggered her decision to commit the suicide.
As we speak the police have just arrived on the scene.
This is the third time (publicly known) this year that Somanya alone has recorded suicide cases. The first was the Suhum NSS boss in early January, and the second was the Bethel JHS student in the middle of the year.
A source very close to Eunice Lartey told Kloma Hengme that, the deceased who was promoted to form three this year at the Yilo-Krobo SHS sought for a transfer to Akro Senior High School in the Lower Manya-Krobo Municipality but was asked to start all over again at Year One at Akro SHS.
The issue is said to have caused her sleepless nights. Often, she complained to her aunt how retrogressive it was for her to start at Year 1 at her new school hence Thursday’s decision to hang herself.

Read Lydia Forson's OPEN LETTER to Anas Aremeyaw Anas over why she is not 'moved' by his work on Corruption in Ghana
Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson, in an open letter to Anas Aremeyaw Anas, is not entirely impressed with the investigative journalist for bringing to light corruption that was not already in the dark.
Read her letter below:
"LADIES and GENTLEMEN!!!!!! Drumroll……… Anas Aremeyaw Anas has done it again!!!! Once again the ace investigative journalist has gone undercover to unearth what wasn’t hidden in the first place. A corrupt society!
I find it amusing whenever there’s an issue of corruption and we all exclaim oooooh aaaaaah wow like it’s such a big deal.
I don’t want to dismiss the work Anas, in fact I appreciate his efforts to try and expose the ills in our society. However ,next time I hope he comes out with something we’re completely unaware off, something explosive, something to make me shiver and shock me to my core.
Because if we need this to tell us just how corrupt our country is then we’re either blind, stupid or extremely pretentious( I think it’s the latter).
Ghana is corrupt and its citizens fuel this corruption. The easiest way to make anything go away is with money.
So if you’ve never paid for a fast track passport, bribed a police man, or paid a little extra to have something done quickly for you and keep talking.
Yea yea yea, I know what you’re thinking, and trust me I’ve thought of it several times, “don’t like to pay bribe but it’s the system ” right?
WRONG! The system isn’t like the Matrix run with computers or fancy tech equipment. The system is run by human beings, including you and I. The guy at the passport office, the police man at the traffic light, the secretary at the ministry are all regular human beings, they have families, friends and normal lives. And whether they know it or not are part of the system and how it functions.
So here’s the thing, the secretary has probably paid bribe to the policeman, the policeman has paid bribe to the guy at the passport office and the guy at the passport office has probably paid bribe to the secretary at the ministry. You get the cycle now?
If WE want this to stop ,and I mean you and I need to fight the urge to fix everything with money. No excuses.
#missforson"
