A 40- year-old manager of Ecobank, Seth Akyea, has been shot dead by three unidentified persons at his residence at Kasoa.
Seth Akyea until his death was the Operations Manager at the Cantoments Branch of the bank.
The incident occurred around 9.30 pm last Friday.
Seth Akyea was killed when he arrived home from work at Kasoa New Market in the Central Region.
The Kasoa Divisional Police Commander, Chief Superintendent Samuel Winful said the deceased’s vehicle was taken by the suspects and later abandoned.
“When he got home, he got down from the car and the suspects attacked him. They requested for his car keys. There was a lady in the car and the suspects asked her to go into the house. They marched the deceased to the passenger side and had a conversation with him where they shot him. And they took the car with them but the car has currently been retrieved. The murderers are three in all,” he said.
He added that it was too early to describe the incident as a contract killing and stated that investigations were ongoing.
“Now we cannot say it is contract killing and we are doing our investigations to unravel everything connected to the incident”, he added.

"Hello people, my name is Pat and I have been married to my husband for 5 months now.
"My problem is that since I got married my husband he has been having sex with me almost everyday disregarding my health and my menstruation periods.
"When I complain, he says to me that ‘what is the benefit of marrying you if I cannot have sex with you anytime I want?’
"This persistent sex has giving me bruises and it is torturing me emotionally.

Stephanie, who was born a man named Dapo Adaralegbe, was expelled from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife, where she was studying Law due to her homosexuality.
She later underwent surgery to become a woman, she says that GOD is the devil himself.

In her latest rant, she has taken to her Facebook page to share a post by an avowed atheist, Amenhotep Kingsagreed, where she thinks that God is the devil himself. “I’m amazed that people who claim to read and worship the words of the bible tend to be so ignorant about just what the bible says. I wonder how many of them know that god is quoted many times in the bible admitting that he is in fact evil. I will list those passages below.

Now I ask you, why do you feel that this “god” is deserving of worship? Even if you believe that he does exist, after all he has done and all he admits, why would you want to devote your life to him? Of all the men who have lived not one of them can come close to the evil that this god is. No one has caused as much death and destruction that this god claims to have done.
It’s funny, the relationship that people have with this god reminds me of battered wife syndrome. He’ll beat you into submission, threaten you with terrible punishments if you don’t comply, convince you that you deserve that horrible treatment because your bad deep inside, then tell you he only does it because he loves you. Actually it’s not funny after all. It’s pretty damn sad.
Which ‘other uncontrollable devil’ is humanity searching for when the creator and inventor of evil has declared itself? The position of evil can not be checked because the same God is the creator and inventor of all evil.
Evil started from the same hopeless and foolish God because such useless and senseless God is evil. They do not go to Heaven and they do not go to Hell fire, the same God is the exact devil that deceived all religions about an untrue Heaven and untrue Hell fire!
Hell fire is a fallacy of imagination. NO BODY GOES TO HELL FIRE.”

It’s over! After 17 years, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are ending their rocky marriage – with a blockbuster secret divorce deal.
“For Will and Jada, holding it together these past few years has been tough because their marriage has been on life support for a long time,” an insider told Radar.

PLEASE "CHANGE THE MEMO"
To the wonderful Youth of Ghana. Please be aware that the legacy we have left you to inherit is a legacy of mediocrity. The "Memo" we have left you is that it is ok to be sub-standard. The standards, we have set are below average but we have convinced you that they are acceptable. Sadly you have believed it and you have become a generation operating comfortably on a very low bar. I apologize for that and plead with you to CHANGE THE MEMO. The Memo encourages you to cling onto the way we did things: Our times were different. Maybe they worked for us. But applying those same guidelines to the demands of your generation is recipe for disaster.

Read Shatta Wale's Apology Letter To Charterhouse, GhOne TV, Samini, Stonebwoy And More
Ghanaian dancehall musician, Shatta Wale who already has a pending court case with events company Charterhouse and its CEO Mr. Iyiola Ayoade at the Fast Track Division of the Accra High Court wants peace to reign.
Charterhouse sued Shatta Wale almost a year ago for defamation and is seeking damages of ten million Ghana cedis(GHS 10,000,000).
Also Shatta Wale and fellow musician, Samini have a long standing feud between them, and his 'beef' with Stonebwoy(another dancehall musician) was just picking up.
The musician has apologized in a letter he shared on social media and he is asking for pardon from industry persons he had/has in one way or the other wronged.

Stonebwoy Loses mother, manager confirms
Stonebwoy's mother passes today.
Ghana’s 2015 BET Awards winner for Best International Act(Africa) who is also the reigning Vodafone Ghana Music Awards artiste of the year 2015, Livingstone Etse Satekla known by his stage name as Stonebwoy has lost his mother today July 29 at the 37 military hospital in Accra.
Information available on his facebook fans group indicate that, Stonebwoy’s mother was rushed to the hospital on Sunday and sadly death laid its icy hands on her today.
Although Stonebwoy has not made any statement concerning his mother’s demise, his manager, Blakk Cedi confirmed on facebook that something bad has befallen their camp by changing his profile photo into a total black image.
Stonebwoy is an afropop, dancehall and reggae artiste, and CEO of Burniton Music Group.

ICGC Pastor Kills Wife
Pastor Houkpe Archill Yao purportedly committed the act at their Rock City residence on Saturday July 25.
Yao, a Togolese is reported to have committed the heinous crime after a misunderstanding between him and his wife.
Yao took their two children to their hometown in Togo before reporting himself to the Amasaman Police Tuesday.
The body of the deceased, identified as Rita Kweve, 37 - a Sunday school teacher of the Church was discovered by a neighbor in their rented Single room apartment around 7am the following day.
The Kasoa District Crime Officer, DSP Samuel Naa Musah told the Daily Graphic that they found the deceased lying on the bed with blood oozing out of her mouth and nose.
The body was picked and sent to the Police Hospital for preservation and autopsy.

Yes, I sound bitter, but only because I have been patient way too long. I was diagnosed with severe depression for the first time in my life a few days ago. I know why I am depressed, it is because I am lonely and miserable. I don’t have the life I want because I cannot find the relationship I want.
I deserve it: I am smart, educated, attractive, and take care of myself. I would never lie or cheat.
My question is: how can I feel better? I feel like I have tried it all and am at the end of my rope here. Therapy, psychics, exercise, meditation, etc. I am just so tired of it all, because nothing is working.
How can I stop being so unhappy?

There has been so much talk and bad mouthing of the IMF. I tend to agree with most of the comments but I refuse to condemn the IMF. Don't get me wrong. I like to think I am a "nationalist" and a "patriot". I believe in "Homegrown" policies and "remedies" I am of the view that "we should be able to lift ourselves from this quagmire of poverty and indebtedness and stand strong as a nation". I believe in all this talk. The only problem is that we have been saying this since I was a teenager in secondary school! Guess what? I am now a grandfather and I still hear the same thing.
The issues we discussed then are the same being discussed now. The only difference is that there were no radio stations to blast our voices but we talked and argued about the same things in our dormitories in high school!. Thanks to FM radio now, the debate is on air. But do you know what freaks me out? The situation hasn't changed one bit. If anything at all, its gotten worse. The last time I checked, we were still blasting the IMF and Wold Bank for being responsible for our economic woes and and yet we still go to them for economic advice and financial bailout.

Who was it that said it is only a "mentally challenged" person, who will repeat the same action and yet expect to get different results? I refuse to condemn the World Bank and the IMF. Who is it that will give you a loan and not set conditions FOR PAYBACK? If we are not intelligent enough to make sure that the conditions we accept do not backfire then we are to blame when it does. We always have the option to say no and back off.
When we got debt relief as a part of the benefit of going HIPC, that was awesome. What went wrong was that the condition they gave us. We were told to use the relief money on projects that will help in "poverty alleviation". Right there we should have known that the only answer to poverty alleviation was wealth creation. We should have invested the relief money in areas that would have generated wealth and the revenue from that invested in wealth creation activities.
What did we do? Instead of investing in activities that would generate income out of which some would be invested in boreholes and public toilets, we invested directly in the boreholes and public toilets and proudly called them HIPC Benefits! They looked good but in strict economic sense they had become liabilities. If you do not invest in activities that generate income, to pay off your loan, you will find out that the "bailout" will become a "debt trap".
We have come full circle again, we are now being BAILED OUT again. Will this be the last time? Are we investing in INCOME GENERATING activities that will create wealth to pay off the loan or are we going to repeat the same but expect different results. Are we opting for a BAILOUT or are we walking into a DEBT TRAP. The option is ours!
