PHOTOS: Jackie Appiah Donates to Accra disaster victims, But accused of selling

Jackie Appiah donation to Accra disaster victims 37 military hospital

Jackie Appiah on last Wednesday visited the 37 Military Hospital to make donations to the children who fell victims to the June 3rd  Accra floods and Goil filling station fire disaster at Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra that claimed over 150 lives.

She took to facebook to share the photos above and below of her making the donation and captioned it in a way that showed she was advertising for her hair, make up and dress partners.

I know I am also adding to the advertisement but never mind.

Some of her fans found something wrong with the gesture and started accusing her of leveraging the moment to sell.

Jackie Appiah wrote, "So yesterday I decided to visit the Children & victims who were affected by the flood/gas explosion at the 37 Military hospital and donated cash and several items to the victims and after visited Nima a suburb of Accra where I interacted with the flood victims and also did the same donation. You should have seen the smile on their faces it was priceless ‪#‎SupportGhFloodsVictims‬.

Bridget Ngwa: Jackie I also love you but you were too dressed up for this occasion. A simple dress or jeans would have been more appropriate

Those people would feel even more misery looking at your fine self. Thanks for the gifts though. Next time put more compassion into it and not every occasion is one for a photo up.

Starr Eve Kabana: Thanks for helping, BUT, who cares about who did your make up, hair and clothing... Definitely not those victims or is it for your fans? And a casual outfit would had shown you went there to really help, not to show off your hair and make up or dress....

Pizoster Van Simon: why should you do good to people and be announcing it to de public.... even de Bible says the "left hand should not see wateva de ryt hand does."...... let do de ryt tinz to earn more blessings from God..... we can sometimes do gud but de reward will be curse instead of blessings.....

Roger Teufo: Jackie, I love u, but I thing the time isn't right to talk about your dress and makeup. It looks like you just get there because you want people to see you, to watch how much you care about others, while inside you are not even care.

Jennifer Omede: We are not accusing her. This is simply not the occasion for it. Do you see the child in the picture with a burnt face & wrapped arms?
