FIFA press conference at its headquarters in Zurich
British comedian, Lee Nelson whose real monicker is Simon Brodkin illegally gained access into a FIFA press conference at its headquarters today in Zurich and pranked the newly re-instated president Sepp Blatter by making it rain in fake dollars on him.
",Ladies and gentlemen, we have to clean here first. Otherwise I will not be able to speak to you ladies and gentlemen. When we speak about football, this is not something to do with football. I will be back in a few minutes'', he said before walking out of the press conference.
Genesis Rodriguez Gomez, 20, is a Venezuelan weightlifter and she was
competing in the Pan Am Games last Sunday in Oshawa, Ontario, near
Toronto.
The 20-year-old momentarily holds the bar in the air. But she then
buckles under the pressure and falls to the ground with the weight
tumbling dangerously close behind.
Incredibly, Gomez later managed to pick herself up and continue - and
she went on to win a silver medal in the women’s 116-pound category
after successfully lifting an even heavier 240-pound bar.
She was runner-up to Colombia’s Rusmeris Villar Barboza.
