Happy FM regrets to announce the death of one of our cherished colleagues Kwabena Kwakye, a.k.a. ‘Kwakye Adiɛ Yɛfɛ’, who passed away on the dawn of the 16th October at the 37 Military Hospital.
Kwabena was suddenly taken ill the previous day, 15th October, and was rushed to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital and ended up eventually at the 37 Millitary Hospital.
‘Wofa Kwakye’, as he was affectionately called by his colleagues and friends, has been with the Happy FM family as a News Reader and Presenter since 2004. He will be fondly remembered for his charisma, dedication and friendliness.
Wofa Kwakye leaves behind a wife and 6 children. We entreat everyone to remember his family during this trying period and keep them in your prayers.
