But the photo above is the alleged girl who fell asleep while chatting with her friends on the phone in the period of lights out and got electrocuted to death by her already-charging-and-overly-heated power bank when the lights came back on.
According to sources, it is believed the lights were on before she started chatting with her friends and in the process the lights went out. Besides, she already had the phone connected to the power bank via cable and the power bank to the electricity power outlet.
She was downloading power into the power bank, charging and using the phone at the same time. So when the lights went out and she finished chatting, she forgot to disconnect the power bank; and fell asleep on it in the process. The lights were later put on when she was fast asleep and her chest resting on the power bank. The power bank got heated, burnt and shocked her to death.
She was a resident of Accra, according to reports.
The family, friends and loved ones did not hear a good news on Tuesday evening when they found out that their beloved, Blandine has lost her life to 'Dumsor' and power bank. So sad.
