Dr. Kwabena Donkor Resigns, resignation letter to Mahama out
On the 31st of December last year, news from sources close to Ghana's Minister for Power, Dr. Kwabena Donkor broke that he has resigned from his office and this was not a surprise to Ghanaians since he has earlier stated that if he is unable to solve the electricity power crisis (load shedding also known as 'Dumsor') bedeviling the nation and the situation goes beyond December 31, 2015 he will resign.
He indeed resigned and later that day president John Mahama confirmed it in a statement accepting his resignation as Power Minister.
But whether Dr. Kwabena Donkor wrote a resignation letter by himself to the president or not nobody knew, in fact, his resignation letter was not made public until today that you will read it here.
Below is the official resignation letter the former Minister for Power, Dr. Kwabena Donkor wrote to president John Mahama before he resigned on December 31, 2015.
