Comedian DKB To Honour Late Bob Okala
The Ghanaian king of standup comedy, Derick Kobina Bonney known in short as DKB has disclosed today that he will honour the senior fellow and veteran comedian Samuel Kwadwo Buabeng, Bob Okala who passed away in the early hours of Sunday March 13, 2016 in the Koforidua Rgional Governnent hospital following his collapse after his two minutes gig at 'Ghetto Party', a show that was organized by Joy Industries at Jackson Park in Koforidua.
DKB made this known on an Accra-based Pluzz FM this morning in an interview with Sammy Flex and this is what the comedian said, "Tomorrow I will be performing it at the 'Lords Of The Ribs'; exclusive.
"Yes and I will be appearing in Okala costume. Tomorrow is massive at the 'Lords Of The Ribs'. Yes to honour Okala.
"I didn't even know why I had to say it but anyway, those who heard it just know you heard it here (Pluzz FM) first and tomorrow I will be honouring Okala with the performance of Vim Yaazo (a new song from DKB).
"Yes tomorrow at 'Lords Of The Ribs'. You know just to entertain the people. I am not going to do this to make money. You get what am saying?"
'Lords Of The Ribs' is a comedy show that will take place tomorrow Saturday at the Accra International Conference Centre. Be there!
